I made this for dinner the night before last and my family loved it! I am not sure who to credit for it because I found it being shared over and over on Facebook, but whoever created it developed a yummy recipe! Thank you! If you decide to give it a try, please come back and let me know what you think about it and if you made any changes, what they were, and how they turned out!
1 box elbow macaroni
1 Big can pureed tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 Small can tomato paste
4 Cups cheese (I used 2 cups cheddar & 2 cups mozzarella)
1lb ground beef or turkey
Use whatever spices you like in the tomato sauce. I used lots of garlic, some sea salt, oregano and basil
Brown the meat and drain. Boil the pasta. Heat all the tomato sauces in a pot and add your spices.
Mix meat, pasta, and sauce in a large lasagna pan. Mix in two cups of cheese..stir well.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake at 375 for about 30-40 minutes.
Throw in a crusty french bread and a side veggie and you have a fantastic family dinner
